While waiting for me at Marina Square, dearrie went to buy Chocolate Indulgence and Chocolate Banana from Secret Recipe! Awwww, I can finally satisfy my craving for cakes! Yummy.. Back to the topic, the fireworks display is splendid.. The human jam, its really appalling to see the huge number of people squeezing and pushing through the crowd. Phew. WEBS is over, finally!
Feeling so relax right now mann. Hang around at FC 6 for the last time and laugh our arses off at our nonsensical conversation. Haha! Went Tanjong Pagar with Shee-rah to collect my sis's ez link card before heading to Tamp. I'm really bad at directions lahh.. Walked around Century Square and Tm, found a nice place to sit down and have a nice long talk.. Oh, and not to forget, we played two rounds of Daytona.. I won the last round at the nick of time, through sheer perseverance! Ahhahh, that's really satisfying hehh.. I'm pretty sure there will be endless rounds if i didn't winnnnnn :P Deariee is back from his field camp and he's booking out tmr! I bet he has lots of fascinating stories to share with me? Hurhur.. I miss you so much! Posted by Amy at

Uh ohhh! Here comes the dreadful day - BMT! Deariee complained that his ordeal will begin today. =X. Mummy and I met deariee and his parents at 7.30am at Pasir Ris Bus Interchange. Took the bus to SAF ferry terminal.. Oh and the bus was so CUI, me and dearrie thought it was going to breakdown anytime soon. A 15 minutes ride on board a ship after that and tadaaaa, we reached Pulau Tekong. Honestly, the place was much better than I expected. I was certain that it would resembled some kumpong village instead. Went on a mini tour around the "campus". Visited the bunk, dining hall etc. Deariee's daddy walked so fast that we could hardly catch up with him. The speech by the 2nd-in-command and the oath taken by enlistees were held in the auditorium. Had our "last" lunch together after that. All in all.. I'm glad I didn't miss it out. It was really an educational experience. Went home, took my laptop and off to school. Now that I can't irritate dearrie anymore or rather not as often. I shall do that to Stephie and Sheerah.. Haha! Got real emo at the end of the day. Quoted from Stephie's blog "very emo day today for amy and sheerah. seems like everything came pouring out. felt so emo for them! - although im cold and have no feelings, haha! just hope everything works out for them. sigh. i'll have to start doing seriously ugly things to make them laugh. haha." I'll definitely keep an eye on those seriously ugly things and blog it here! Haha. It's great having you guys around - yea you (Stephie) and Sheerahh..

-- The following is an actual question given on a University of Washington chemistry mid-term. Bonus Question: Is Hell exothermic(gives off heat) or endothermic(absorbs heat)? Most of the students wrote proofs of their beliefs using Boyle's Law(gas cools when it expands and heats when it is compressed) or somevariant. One student, however, wrote the following: First, we need to know how the mass of Hell is changing in time. Sowe need to know the rate at which souls are moving into Hell and the rate at which they are leaving. I think that we can safely assume that once a soul gets to Hell, it will not leave. Therefore, no souls are leaving. As for how many souls are entering Hell, let's look at the different religions that exist in the world today. Most of these religions state that if you are not a member of their religion, you will go to Hell. Since there is more than one of these religions and since people do not belong to more than one religion, we can project that all souls go to Hell. With birth and death rates as they are, we can expect the number of souls in Hell to increase exponentially. Now, we look at the rate of change of the volume in Hell because Boyle's Law states that in order for the temperature and pressure in Hell to stay the same, the volume of Hell has to expand proportionately as souls are added. This gives two possibilities: 1) If Hell is expanding at a slower rate than the rate at which souls enter Hell, then the temperature and pressure in Hell will increase until all Hell breaks loose. 2) If Hell is expanding at a rate faster than the increase of souls in Hell, then the temperature and pressure will drop until Hell freezes over. So which is it? If we accept the postulate given to me by Teresa during my Freshman year that, "It will be a cold day in Hell before I sleep with you,"and take into account the fact that I slept with her last night, then number two must be true, and thus I am sure that Hell is exothermic and has already frozen over. The corollary of this theory is that since Hell has frozen over, it follows that it is not accepting anymore souls and is therefore, extinct leaving only Heaven, thereby proving the existence of a divine being which explains why, last night, Teresa kept shouting "Oh my God !" This student received the only "A". -- Posted by Amy at

When news of the death of Princess Diana, undoubtedly the most famous woman in the world, breaks upon a shocked and disbelieving British public, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II retreats behind the walls of Balmoral Castle with her family, unable to comprehend the public response to the tragedy. For Tony Blair, the popular and newly elected Prime Minister, the people’s need for reassurance and support from their leaders is palpable. As the unprecedented outpouring of emotion grows ever stronger, Blair must find a way to reconnect the Queen with the British public. A taught, intimate and revealing portrait of Queen Elizabeth II and the Royal Family in turmoil during the days immediately following the death of Princess Diana. -- Watched this a-little-boring-yet-interesting movie with Sy at Tm. We got no idea that its a true story about Princess Diana. Practically, we knew nothing about it beforehand. Brought some snacks to eat in the threatre and you know what, I stained my shirt and she stained her bag =X I swear Stephie is so LAMPEH.. Hmmph. I know everyone would happily agree with me (: I've been woolgathering the whole day in school. Please be strong, Barmy. We are always here for you. Posted by Amy at |
